Some totally cool books by Kieran Scott…
Books by Kieran Scott. This book, I Was a Non-Blonde Cheerleader, is the first book in a three book series.
Sassy, brunette New Jersey transplant Annisa Gobrowski is stunned when she sees everyone at her new school in Florida is blonde. But that’s not going to stop her from making the cheerleading squad. When she discovers the other cheerleaders hate her, she has second thoughts.
Annisa has just enrolled in her new high school and on her first day there, she found out the hard way that everybody in that school was blonde. Even the teachers. As if that wasn’t bad enough, Annisa accidentally breaks the nose of the most popular girl in school, also the captain of the cheerleading team in which Annisa hopes to join. She also meets Daniel Healy who happens to be her neighbour and very good looking. Just as she thought that she can be interested in Daniel, she finds out that he is dating her most hated rival, Sage.
This book has some twist to the plot and relatable characters. It also has a good pace to the plot and conflicts that end quickly and are believale. Girls who like Meg Cabot’s books will love this book as well.
The next two installments in the series, Brunettes Strike Back and A Non-Blonde Cheerleader In Love is also well paced and suspenseful. If you had read I Was a Non-Blonde Cheerleader, you will enjoy these two books as well. These two books continue the story of Annisa being the only brunette in her cheerleading team and how the team finally gells together. I enjoyed this series tremendously and I look forward to the next one…read on for a review on Geek Magnet, also by Kieran Scott.

Enter Tama Gold, the most popular girl in school and the star of their school musical. Tama is ready to help KJ ditch the geeks and win Cameron’s heart but is KJ ready? Will she end up being Cameron’s girlfriend after all? Read it and see.
Kieran Scott is amazing. She has characterization down pat. Her characters are realistic and relatable. She portrays an environment similar to some of ours. All around, it is an enjoyable and hilarious read.
