Bad Kitty by Michele Jaffe. One of my favourite books ever to be published in 2007. Now is rather late to be reviewing this book but I just read it recently and I really loved it. Jasmine Callihan, also referred as “Calamity Callihan” by her cousin Alyson, wants to relax and enjoy her family vacation in Las Vegas but soon trouble stikes just because of a very bad kitty. From innocently lounging in a deck chair by the poolside to eying the hot guy across the pool, the bad kitty brings trouble and she ends up ruining a wedding and landing the bride and a five-tiered cake in the swimming pool. Jasmine is also a rather good detective and has many cool friends like Polly, Tom and Roxy, who helps her in her times of need and difficulty. Very soon, they find themselves in a big and crazy adventure with self made gadgets and their own wits to help them out of their dangerous adventures. All because of a very bad and naughty kitty.

I can’t believe I didn’t read this much earlier when it was published. Only did I find out after reading this book that chick-lit mystery pretty much rules. This book isn’t like any other mystery books I read before. Bad Kitty is a more interesting and funny version that leaves me wanting more.

If you want more of Bad Kitty, Kitty Kitty is a must read. Scroll down for a review on Kitty Kitty, also by Michele Jaffe.

This seuqel to Michele Jaffe’s fabulous Bad Kitty is as good as ever. Its even more interesting and exciting than MIchele’s previous book, Bad Kitty. I find it more thrilling and full of suspense.

Jasmine’s father has moved himself, Jas and her stepmother, Sherri! to Venice, Italy. Furthermore, on the day before the start of her senior year. How tragic is it that she has to leave all her friends, boyfriend and hopes to graduate from high school and move to Venice? Her father was hoping that in Venice, Jas will stay out of trouble but trouble always finds Jas in the most thrilling and unsuspecting way.

When Jas’s only friend in Venice was murdered, Jas, who is a good detective, sets out to find the murderer that killed her friend. Will trouble haunt her nd stop her from solving the murder or will the cause of the trouble be the only one that can save her? When Jas’s friends Polly, Tom and Roxy found out that Jas was in trouble and needed help to solve the murder, they flew to Venice and together they went about solving the murder. Alyson and Veronique also joins in to solve this exciting and twisting mystery. Will you be able to name the murderer before finishing the book or will the ending surprise you? This book is a must read if you love chick-lit mysteries.

Michele Jaffe is definitely a fantastic author when it comes to stories like this. She captures the right moment and the right timing for all the conflicts and problems. The twisting plot and the suspense is what makes this book “PURRFECT”. Kitty Kitty is a intelligent, hilarious and adventurous mystery that many people will love to read. I especially loved the ending as it was funny and cute. I think I couldn’t stop laughing after reading the ending. It was very well written. Props to Michele Jaffe for her fabulous and fascinating books!!

You’re doing such a good job at reviewing. I’m new to reviewing also and I’m still not exactly up and going with a schedule yet. I’m like mainly just a random poster, but that’s okay for now. Once you get started though, and become more regular, you’ll be doing it like it was second natured. Keep up the good work.
